Hyphen Deux Welcomes Delegation from the Ministry of Science and Technology
Ho Chi Minh City, August 2026 – Hyphen Deux was honored to welcome Mr. Tran Anh Tu – Deputy Director General of the Authority of Information Technology Industry, Ministry of Science and Technology, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Director of the Vietnam National Semiconductor Chip Prototyping Support Center ( VNMPW/CC ), and representatives from the Center to Hyphen Deux for a working visit.
During the meeting, both sides had in-depth discussions on semiconductor research, chip design, and product development, while exploring opportunities for cooperation in pilot production, product development, and commercialization of Designed in Vietnam semiconductor products.
Strengthening Semiconductor Design and Pilot Production Capabilities
Hyphen Deux shared its semiconductor R&D activities, chip design capabilities, and development direction, with a focus on developing Designed in Vietnam semiconductor products for potential applications in various industries. The two sides also discussed the importance of pilot production in bringing semiconductor products from the design and testing stages toward product validation, refinement, and commercialization.
Building stronger connections between Vietnamese chip design companies and pilot production support organizations will be an important step toward developing a more complete domestic semiconductor value chain.
Expanding Cooperation and Commercialization Opportunities
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss potential cooperation in pilot production support and the commercialization of Vietnamese-designed semiconductor products in the coming period.
Previously, Hyphen Deux and the Vietnam National Semiconductor Chip Prototyping Support Center (VNMPW) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing a foundation for cooperation in pilot production, product development, and the advancement of Vietnam’s semiconductor ecosystem.
Through closer collaboration between chip design companies and pilot production organizations, Vietnam can gradually strengthen its domestic semiconductor value chain, from research and design to pilot production, testing, product development, and commercialization.
