Hyphen Deux Announces Tape-Out of HDx32U Microcontroller at Innovate Vietnam 2025
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – October 6, 2025 – Hyphen Deux, a pioneering fabless semiconductor design company in Vietnam, proudly announces the successful tape-out of its first microcontroller, HDx32U, a major milestone in the company’s journey to contribute to Vietnam’s semiconductor ecosystem.
The announcement was delivered by Mr. Nguyễn Quốc Hoàng Nam, General Director of Hyphen Deux, during a special keynote at the “Forum on Promoting Innovation and Developing Strategic Technology Industries in Vietnam” – part of Innovate Vietnam 2025, held from October 1–3, 2025.

The HDx32U is designed as a versatile, energy-efficient MCU, suitable for a wide range of IoT and Industrial applications. The tape-out represents the transition from design to fabrication, a critical achievement for Hyphen Deux and a strong signal of Vietnam’s capability to innovate in semiconductor technologies.
At the forum, Hyphen Deux was also honored to present the HDx32U graphics to Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Chí Dũng, symbolizing the nation’s ambition and determination to establish Vietnam as a key player in global strategic technologies.
Earlier this year, in June 2025, Hyphen Deux signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Vietnam National Innovation Center ( NIC ) to foster collaboration in semiconductor development, talent training, and technology innovation. This partnership further strengthens the company’s mission to build Vietnam’s position in the global semiconductor value chain.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyễn Quốc Hoàng Nam emphasized: “The HDx32U tape-out is not only a success for Hyphen Deux — it is a signal of what Vietnam can achieve. Together with our government, partners, and customers, we firmly believe that we can establish Vietnam as a true global semiconductor hub.”
In addition to its own chip development projects, Hyphen Deux provides comprehensive design services, including customized chip design, ASIC development, IP cores, and turnkey semiconductor solutions, enabling global and local partners to bring innovative products to market faster.
